Everything I create comes from spirit , one spirit or another.

I have collected and used many tarot decks over the years. Some were corvid-inspired, but the birds were always just aesthetics. Props. Decorations on someone else's story.

 The Celtic Goddess The Morrighan is my patroness. In learning Celtic and Faerie Magick, she taught me the art of transfiguration, the witch's ability to shapeshift, to become a changeling. And then it came to me: what if they ALL shifted?

Not just The Fool. Not just one card. Every archetype. Every pip. The entire court. Not just as ravens, but all Corvus and Corvids, each matched to the archetype and the suit it embodies. They are governed by As Above So Below , the birds themselves carry the archetypes already. The magpie's nesting, the raven's cunning, the jay's boldness. They are living tarot. I am just the translator.

Sometimes the matching is intuitive. Sometimes it is rooted in lore , Celtic lore is ripe with figures transforming into animals and avian forms. And sometimes it comes from the land where I live, where many different birds appear as signs when needed. Message received.

The Fool is YOUR journey , whether you are the reader or the querent. This deck is my journey as The Fool, and it can be anyone's.

When you draw a card from this deck,  physical or digital  understand that it reflects where you are at that moment on your path.

I have always been different. Since I was small, I was drawn to dark and strange things, and I was never afraid to fly that flag — even when it got me in trouble.

I chose a Catholic high school. Public school was too challenging for me socially, and I was raised Catholic. I was a terrible Catholic, but I learned much. The courses that resonated with me were theology, science, art, history, and speech. I have traveled around the Sun fifty-nine times and then some, and in that time I have struggled with and changed my spiritual path, from Christian to agnostic to what I would now call spiritual.

There was a moment. I wasn't feeling agnostic anymore. Something was calling me. I spoke to my significant other , she is a generational Witch, born and raised, and she said, "It's faith calling you. Have you considered a spiritual path?" Wicca popped into my head from nowhere.

I was a mess both mentally and spiritually. I had always taken good care of myself physically, but some of my behaviors and actions were cause and effect from the metaphysical world, wreaking havoc on my life and my ability to function as part of society. I was always a Mystic with no true guidance.

Now I am confident. I am gifted. I am intelligent. I am empathetic and compassionate. I am Awake, and I know where I am going. I am comfortable, for I have manifested everything in my life and I know this.

Magick is real.

My studies, creations, and endeavors are all linked. They have helped make me a more positive person and have created abundance in my personal life. I feel the need to give back. When you reach the Moon, you don't go onto Mars  (not yet anyway)   then you teach others how to get there. One thing I have learned is that Spirit wants us to create.

The name Ravenwind came through meditation and channeling. Macha and I sat on the hills of Tara, and she told me my name was Ravenwind. The rest I had to figure out on my own. My middle name came from a divination with a card bearing Aleister Crowley. The last, Pendragon, I feel in my English and Irish DNA.

In practicing the Craft, anonymity still matters. The Witch's secret name , Witch name, Magickal name, Star name whatever your tradition uses still serves and protects. This deck belongs to Ravenwind, not My given names ego. Those adept enough will figure it out.

The end vision is publication , but not just any self-publishing. This deck will be honored properly. The art comes from my mind's eye. Some AI is my hand for now, it is the fastest way to get what is in my head out into the world visually. But this will never be a 100% AI-generated deck. Once the art is complete, I will hand-finish elements of each card. Then comes the writing of a companion guidebook that is personal and ritual-oriented. Art descriptions, upright and reversed meanings, keywords, symbolism. Waite and Smith symbolism with some twists. No cards renamed, no cards added. Well-used spreads and original ones. Both Arcana introduced. It will be as deep and as beautiful as the deck, wrapped up in a glorious package that resonates.

I want this deck in as many diviners' hands as possible. It will absolutely become my go-to deck  and who better to learn it from than the Author and Creator?
